Does blogging count as keeping a journal or do I really have to write in journal pages? Writing in a journal could be a hard thing to do. Where would I set it so I would remember to write in it, but at the same time out of the hands of two year old? I have a hard enough time updating the blog, do you think a journal would be easier; I could just pack around a note pad and write anywhere. We have a desktop, so that’s a little harder to move around. I don’t have much to say as it is, so updating via paper or blogspot is still something I would struggle with.
Nothing changes and nothing exciting happens, so there isn’t anything to say. Unless you care to see that I woke up, went to work, cooked dinner and off to bed I go. Wally is pretty entertaining and we have endless fun and challenges with him, but that too can get boring, how many things can you say about one person without repeating yourself or becoming annoying?
Our life is fun and filled with many blessings, but there isn’t much to tell. I could start a section where I tell you about my family and background, but at the same time it isn’t something I would like the world to see – it’s family and I like to keep it behind closed doors. I could go private, but going private is out of the question. We blog for the world to see, it’s entertaining, fun, sad and welcoming. If you don’t want the world to read your pages of life, write them in a word doc and blast your family with an email of your family newsletter.
We don’t call it the World Wide Web to only have three choice friends read your blog. These are your thoughts and feelings that you want to blast to the world, you want someone to read and feel what you are feeling as you type away like a mad person. It’s something that gives you that edge of craziness. It’s a little world that you created and those peakers (stalkers) can’t get enough of you. Face it, we all like it. It gives us that sense of an award – where you know someone recognizes you, but they never say they do.
A whoa; where did I just go? Starting to think about keeping a journal and then off on a tangent of private blogs. Boy does time fly when you actually have a little something to say. This could be another place where I could become creative and tell wild crazy stories about the dream I had last night, or what I read on Hannah’s blog (oh, how she makes me laugh.) I do love updating about my son and posting a million pictures of him, but would you like something more? Would you like me to post something other than the updates of my Wally and Spouse? Would you like to see cars and what I think of them – why Chevy in other words is sh*T? What makes me smile and why I love to live? Why I skip around the office riding my invisible horse and attempting to sing at the top of my lungs at the same time trying not to be noticeably loud? Could there be a secret life to Beckie or is she really this boring?

Your life's not boring! It's just hard to see all the fun sometimes ;)
Oh My gosh!!!!!!!!! The whole time I was reading this, I kept saying, okay, i'm going to comment on THAT particular point... and then it changed to wanting to comment on THAT particular point and so on! so I'm going to have to whip up a word doc of all those thoughts cuz it is now not just a "comment". But the basis of my thoughts equaled this - I want to hear allll about beckie Almond and the other two Almonds. I mean, seerslay! you're imaginary horse is so bloggable. Also, yes bloggin is a journal! and you are allowed to just say,.."hm. woke up today. and Wally is even cuter. go figure.' Day 2, "hmm. woke up today, made breakfast, and Wally is still getting cuter.' And there you have it. Beckie's Almond's life and blog is to be quite envied. So BLAST it to the world! lol (I love how you used the word "blast".
I would love to hear the secret life of Beckie :)
