He’ll play outside no matter what the weather or time of day it is. He hates to wear a coat and a jacket. He puts them on to humor us and as soon as he’s outside, off they come and throws them into a window well. It makes it a nice hunting game, until we find which window well he’s decided to throw it in.
He has a great love for tools and knows how to use them. He follows Dad around the house with his little tool box, thinking he’s a Mister Fix It kind of man (like his Dad).
He loves all cars, BIG trucks, buses, planes and trains. We look for buses and trucks every time we’re in the car. He wants to catch the trucks and ride all buses that we pass.
He sleeps with a fire truck most nights. Once in a while he’ll sleep with a garbage truck. And when he sees his Mack and Lightening McQueen, he’ll sleep with them too.
He watches a movie over and over again until I’m to the point of insanity. Cars is his all time favorite movie and has watches it almost every day for year now. I don’t think he will ever get sick of that.
He likes to take his shoes and socks off every chance he gets. Inside, outside, anywhere he can or anytime we’re not watching.
My son isn’t afraid to get dirty or to show his sensitive side. He plays in the mud and water, rolls around on the grass like he’s part puppy. He hugs Mom when she needs to be cheered up. He likes to help around the house; his favorites are washing walls and vacuuming.
He likes to get silly with Mom and dance around the house. They chase each other and laugh uncontrollably.
He builds and fixes things with Dad. He plays blocks and follows him around. He sits on Dad’s chest and lap when he plays the PS2. He asks Dad to watch a game and pretends he’s playing with him.
He likes to play with Mom and Dad, but Grandpa is always his favorite. He’ll take Grandpa over anything, yes, even cocoa. He likes to call Bonnie and visit Shanna. He knows Shanna will spoil him with candy and has fun games to play. He wrestles with his uncles and crashes cars. He reads with Grandma and learns new things. But in the end Mom and Dad are always there to tuck him in at night.
