Becky ranted in a blog about people writing "baby blogs", meaning they are trapped behind their kids. I find her theory very true, but at the same time, what else is there to blog about?
Most of the time I blog about my son, he does funny things that makes me smile and I feel it's worth a blog. Other than that, there is nothing else to life. I sleep, work and clean - not much fun there. I figure if you work with me you already know my life story and enough is said.
Maybe I should take the time to find out who I really am. I know without a doubt in my mind that I am a mother and my son comes first in my life. I want to give him the world, give him things that I could have only dreamed of. And I'm not doing to well at that . . . I constantly think if I was home with him: he would be potty trained, speak more clear, know his numbers and alphabet and so on. But I am not home and I am putting his care in the hands of stranger, something I am not proud of. I love my job, I have the best job in the world and I love everyone I work with, it's a joy, but it's time away from my baby - it's hard. He is all I live for, I can't think of any other reason other than the love he gives me.
I can tell you about life before Wally and even being married, but again, there isn't much to tell. I finally got out of my bubble" because of Mike and Janeen. Life is predictable with me, it's a working schedule that doesn't change very often. I like having a schedule, I like to know what it's going on and when. This is what I call clean and organized. Everything has a place and place for everything. If one thing is out of it's place and not being used, it needs to be put away now, not later.
Things don't pick themselves up, so you'd better put it away or I'm off the wall. I'm getting better and give a little more time. Since Wally I'm not as much as a clean freak (compulsive), I do leave toys thrown in the living room and Mike's clothes are sitting on the floor. Wally spills water everywhere, he even brings it into the house from outside. Tyler will even wipe his greasy hands on my clean towels after working on a car and I let it go, he needs to wipe them somewhere and at least it's not on the walls or floors.
More than enough has been blogged here. Wally just came in with a bucket full of water and Mike's PS2 paddels . . .
