Oh Christmas Tree

We finally picked up a Christmas tree last night. Mikey was just excited, he ran around the house chasing the dog and yelling wow!

I am very excited for Christmas this year. Mikey is now at the age where he is catching on to the whole Christmas thing and is really enjoying it. I take him the long way around our neighborhood to get home each night, so he can see the lights, one of his favorite things to do.

Our tree isn't decorated yet, but it has lights on it and half of the tree has garland wrapped around it. I ran out, so I need to go pick some up, hopefully I can find the same color.

I have decorated the house up a little bit; I'm hoping Mike will let me know buy some lights so we can light up the outside of our house. Well, that's if he'll jump up on our roof to hang them. There is no way I'll be doing that; our roof on the garage is so high, I'd be afraid to fall off.

Well, we are not going to finish the tree tonight, although we should. Mike has been working a lot of overtime so he came home just exhausted. Maybe tomorrow we can go, or maybe I should just go without him... Nah, that's not as fun.

We still have all of Christmas shopping to do for our families. Mike over the Thanksgiving break bought an air compressor for our family gift. I'm pretty excited, just think of all of the cleaning I can do with that. It's not just a man's tool; it's a tool to clean and easier for Mike to change my tires. I have a list of things already made out that I want to test it on. We've already used it to blow the water out of my cell phone (when Mikey put it in the dog water - a story for another day). It worked GREAT!! If you don't have an air compressor, I strongly suggest getting one. It will make is easier to dust those hard to dust crafts (like Reese's had crafted fish). Get the dirt out of window seals and dirt on cracks where you just can't get to. I can go on and on, but that would be strange. It will be well worth your money, making you and your man happy!
